I’m extremely disappointed. I just learned that all of my time and energy here at JS has been lost. Admittedly, it has been a while since I visited and posted, but today when I felt like doing just that, I had no user account and had to reregister… Gah!!!! WTF? How could a social networking site let this happen? I’m not even up to speed on the details yet. I can say this, I’m not caring much for this layout at all. I was able to completely customize my page and every aspect reflected my personality. I had spent countless hours toiling over the perfect design, all for nothing apparently. *sigh* I had/have? been a member of this community for years, five perhaps? I cannot verify my membership date now at all. This really sucks.
I feel sick…

They had an angry employee who erased the programs and blogs and journals .. a simple explaination.
We all suffered great losses from all our journals being deleted. I remember you though from before, I think you live in Cal. I have read some of your other journals before, they were good, being calvinistic and biblical in nature.
Glad to see you back. I have happy that wordpress bought the rights to the name and put it back up. So many other places and friends have my links to this journal name and it would have been nearly impossible to change every other link to a new blog.
You can always leave links here for your other journals and writings.
yours in Christ
Glad to see something familiar, “all” is not lost. I’m stunned and at a loss for words, wow. I’ve relocated and am now in Arizona, the Valley of the Sun, and am enjoying it here. I miss my daughter and family, terribly, though.
Thank you for the explanation. It’s great to see you again. I remember your site as well.
I miss the old JS-I have been writing in JS for over five years-I did not lose any of my writings because I wrote in JS was what I wrote in my LiveJournal blog and Diaryland-this new JS is not that great-peace Jonny
It seems the “sun” has attracted alot of “California people” here lately.
What brought you there? Less taxes? Less people? Less craziness? or just the same reason as most… a job?
You always seem to like your job and your place before. I think it had to do with something about space or exploration or NASA or something like that.
To me the one thing I hate now is the fact that you can’t design this journal like you could with the old journalspace. That was one of the reasons I joined here five years ago. Now with just picking a few backgrounds you can have makes many of the journals all look the same.
I want to stay here and use this as my main journal and not go to blogspot or somewhere else. All of my friends here mostly went to wordpress that owns this journalspace here but they have more freedom to design I was told than we do. Maybe that will change but I don’t expect it.
I hope you have found a good church there and that you daughter and husband is doing great, at least that is the way I remember about your blog.
Yours in Christ
(correction)
“your daughter and “her” husband are doing great”
Hey Puritan,
I was offered a job transfer and headed out to Arizona. Cost of living is so much better here, such so that I bought a home when I moved and I wouldn’t have been able to do that in the area of California I was living in (easily a 3-to-1 cost ratio in homes). I do love my job (we build rockets) and was given a promotion a few weeks after relocating. My daughter and her family are doing great (two grandbabies for me now). I’m still looking for a good church; admittedly, frequently working weekends has affected my effort.
I hope everything is going well for you. I’m sorry I can’t remember where you’re located.
Many of us “old” J/Sers have started new blogs at blogspot.com. I think most of us are not really impressed with this “new” site. You can also check into Dories’s web page since it has many of the old j/s folks listed there and where they have gone to. I’d like to invite you to stop by at my site anytime. The url is http://captron52.blogspot.com Hope ya have a great week!
